Powertrip presents Female Wizard's third album-length release, What A Body Can Do. By far Female Wizard's most DJ-friendly release to date, What A Body Can Do is firmly planted in the tradition of four-to-the-floor techno and house music, whilst also drawing out the ghosts of the music making machines, where creative impulses and sonic content is found in the edges of the capabilities of analog or digital circuitry. Beyond these conceptual precepts, the album simply hones in on whatever it is that activates the body into motion on a dancefloor, an intelligence only known through experience and intuition. The five tracks include a collaboration with Naarm Hip Hop icon Teether, as well as two bonus tracks which are re-mixed and mastered versions of Female Wizard's first ever releases mother and meta-limbs.
